An international zero-emission vehicle developer and manufacturer asked DayoneHR to review their entire HR Technology Stack. The client believed their existing solutions were not scalable enough for their projected business growth.

  • Analyse all HR Technology Platforms globally and scope their uses and functionality in order to build an HR Tech Stack overview.

  • Identify gaps within their HR Tech ecosystem and provide recommendations for further development and progression.

We identified the need for two urgent and business-critical HR tech projects to meet their ambitious growth plans.

1. Workforce Management Platform Selection & Implementation

  • Documented the existing process for time tracking and identified gaps.

  • Reached out to suitable workforce management platforms in the market and set-up demos.

  • Created a cross-functional team and guided them through selecting a solution that met their requirements.

  • Led the system design and integration process across multiple platforms.

2. HCM Requirements Mapping & Selection

  • Examined the existing HR system usage and gaps.

  • Mapped the current process vs future needs.

  • Scoped out the requirements for the future system to match up to the expected growth.

  • Shortlisted potential HCM platforms and facilitated provider demos.

The client was very impressed with the successful outcome of the full HR Tech audit and thus asked us to support them through the selection process for a workforce management platform and new HCM. In addition, DayoneHR was asked to provide a benefits platform shortlist and deliver all necessary preparations for a successful workforce management platform implementation.

Case Study #2: HR Tech Selection for AI-Powered Localization Business

The Challenge

Following a successful HRIS implementation project the previous year, we were asked by our client to find an additional solution that could help them manage and automate their performance management and appraisal processes.

Our Process

  • Carry out a full review of the performance management platform market, reach out to our relevant partners and create a shortlist.

  • Support the client with demo set-up and feedback collation for shortlisted providers.

  • Provide expert process design consulting to elevate their existing performance appraisal activities.

Our Achievements

  • Established and stabilised a technology-focussed HR function.

  • Led our client through the selection process, from the discovery stage through to demos and commercial negotiations.

  • Helped our client to trim down the shortlist to just 2 preferred performance management system vendors.

  • Prepared our client for software due diligence and purchase decision once their funding round was completed.

Feedback

The client was super impressed with our work and gave us really positive feedback. After this project, they required our expertise to help them source an Application Tracking System (ATS) and Learning and Development (L&D) platform to be implemented next year.

Case Study #3: HR Tech Implementation for Oil & Gas Company

The Challenge

Via an intermediary, we were asked by the business to project manage the implementation of a newly selected HR system across all locations of the company. Their HR processes had previously been managed mainly on spreadsheets and email, so this was an extensive HR transformation project.

Our Process

  • Review the work already completed internally regarding the selection process.

  • Share expertise on initial findings and select two platforms for the final demo stage.

  • Partner with selected HRIS provider and establish an implementation project plan & timeline.

  • Project manage the end-to-end platform implementation using the DayoneHR methodology.

  • Stabilise the new system until handover to the internal team.

Our Achievements

  • Successfully completed a huge HR transformation project that was felt by everyone in the company.

  • Delivered much needed change for the HR team as they moved away from manual processes, gaining significant ROI at the same time.

  • Continued to partner with the client to further optimize HR processes and technology integrations.
